The sluggish economy in 2008 had a silver lining for Northland. The Lord provided a substantial increase in sales at both Dime & Dollar stores this past year thus blessing Northland with greater financial support.
In 2008 the Wausau store had sales of $141,079 or an increase of $14,469 over 2007. The Stevens Point store had an increase of $2,600 or $51,079 in total 2008 sales. These sales provided donations of $118,950 to Northland or $17,150 more than 2007. In the month of November 2008 the total sales from the two stores was well over $21,000! We thank God for the many volunteers that made this possible. We also thank those who donated items to the stores and those who purchased the items. Countless numbers of people enjoyed blessings from all of these efforts. If you would like to be a part of this success story, stop and shop or stop and donate items or your time at either of the stores. Dime and Dollar Thrift Store Dime and Dollar Thrift Store
